With the new technical infrastructure of the planning applications KIT, some functions are alsoonly supported in ABAP and lead to additional a data round trip, which severely impairs performance.Some ABAP specific features are also not supported in the HANA-optimized execution. Remodeling might be required in order to leverage HANA optimization when starting from an existing scenario.Following switches exist to de-/activate ABAP planning applications KIT:,Main switch connected with license usage: General activation of planning applications KIT:table view RSPLSHDBACT in SM30. If it does not yet exist, create a new entry for 'Deep HANA IntegrationActive' (HANAACT), and mark the checkbox 'Function Active' in order to activate the ABAP planning applications KIT.,In rare cases a scenario causes problems with the InfoProvider-specific activation of theABAP planning applications KIT: The table view RSPLSHDBACTIP in SM30 can be used to deactivate ABAPplanning applications KIT for individual InfoProvider.

This is in place in order to guarantee a smooth transition from existing BW-IPscenarios and to avoid additional roundtrips due to the restrictions mentioned below. Every real-timecube must be HANA-optimized to run in HANA. In case of a MultiProvider, all PartProviders that arereal-time cubes must be HANA-enabled and active in this table.
